The Acuity Social Values Canadian Equity Fund provides long-term capital growth by investing in a diversified portfolio of primarily large-sized Canadian companies which fit the Fund's concept of social values.

The Portfolio Advisor, Acuity Investment Management Inc., seeks companies with proven management, proprietary/strategic advantages, financial strength, above average sales or earnings growth potential, and and favourable valuation levels. Social criterial upon which companies are evaluated include excellence in environmental management, positive labour practices, involvement in promoting human rights in other countries, and the avoidance of nuclear power, weapons, alcohol, tobacco or gambling as major sources of revenue.

Social Research: Michael Jantzi Research Associates Inc. (MJRA) monitors and reports on the environmental, labour and social performance of Canadian corporations. Founded in 1992 by one of Canada's leading social investment authorities, MJRA provides a full range of social investment research, which Acuity then utilizes in making investment decisions for the Acuity Social Values Canadian Equity Fund. MJRA's Canadian Social Social Investment Database™, the first such database in Canada, contains social and environmental profiles of over 400 publicly traded Canadian companies.
