| Job Description | Join fast-growing solar sales team and become an active part of California\'s green economy. Position Overview: Senior Account Manager will be responsible for implementing aggressive sales strategies to generate new business, acquire new accounts and grow revenues. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, goal oriented hands-on professional with a proven track record of developing relationships with customers. He/she will be focused and enthusiastic, with a reputation of integrity and success in solar/alternative energy or high-end technology sales. Ideal candidate will excel in managing multiple sales opportunities with grace; be a confident self-starter, and have first-rate written and verbal communications skills. Responsibilities: - Prospect and qualify new account and project leads. - Educate customers and prospects about features and benefits of the NEW HOME product line and suite of value-added tools. - Generate project quotes for prospective and active accounts. - Follow up on recent quotes in a timely manner. - Facilitate fulfillment of quotes/PO\'s, shipping, invoicing, etc... - Work fluidly with Customer Service & Account Management team to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded. - Maintain a working list of prospective and active customers, as well as strategy to sustain and build your client base. - Always exercise best practices with CRM system - Meet and exceed sales quota. - Maintain harmonious inter-department communications. - Execute marketing strategy as requested. - Keep current on competitive product landscape. - Keep current on solar incentives and rebate guidelines. - Attend appropriate trade shows to identify new opportunities and prospects. - Other duties as needed. - Up to 40% local/territory travel. |
| Qualifications | - BS or equivalent degree from an accredited university
- 5 years of professional sales experience. - Experience in the photovoltaic (PV), Renewable Energy (RE), or electrical utility industry is highly preferred. - Knowledge of the solar industry - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Excellent interpersonal skills - Ability to work with limited supervision and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment - Enthusiasm and organization are paramount to success. - Own vehicle and have clean driving record. |
