| Job Description | Lumos Solar designs and delivers solar solutions to meet America\'s ever-increasing energy demands. Our mission is to facilitate the use of clean, free and unlimited solar energy by delivering cost effective solar solutions to the solar energy industry. Position Overview: Lumos Solar is currently looking for Independent Sales Representatives. This position is responsible for the sales of Lumos Solar Products in the United States. The successful candidate will service our customers in the US region to be defined. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the introduction and promotion of Lumos Solar products in the US, development of sales channels, customer acquisition and retention, quotations, sales, trade shows and coordination with sales, marketing and technical services. Responsibilities: - Promoting and expanding the reputation of Lumos Solar in the PV and Solar Thermal markets within the USA - Identifying and aggressively pursuing all sales inquiries of the territory and responding to customer inquiries - Managing the solar customer database in Netsuite. - Conducting initial and regular visits to customers - Customer support: product availability, pricing, quotations, information for bids, and direction to data available on the web, etc... - Regular monitoring of customer inventory to ensure that it matches up with requirements and commitments - Prospecting and acquisition of new customers in the defined territory - Securing orders, the ability to meet and ideally exceed objectives and sales goals - Obtaining and providing (internally) all customer data needed to process customer orders - Responsible for Product presentations and trainings in defined territory. |
| Qualifications | - Bachelors degree, preferably in sales, marketing, engineering or equivalent.
- 3 years technical sales, product line management or marketing experience, preferably in the photovoltaics, solar thermal or related industry - Valid drivers license with the desire and ability to travel throughout the USA. - Excellent written, verbal, negotiation presentation and public speaking skills - Self-starter, self motivated. Capable of working in a remote office, setting goals, objectives and successfully implementing plans without close supervision or direction - Strong technical understanding of Solar Electric and Solar Thermal systems will be a significant asset Communications skills: - Excellent written and verbal skills Strong negotiator Must be able to clearly, concisely and effectively write correspondence and sales information - Team player with ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity - Excellent time management skills, able to manage a large and diverse range of customers - Represent Lumos professionally with the goal of long-term partnerships - Desire to achieve while understanding, accepting and w Business Skills Required: - Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and MS Outlook Proficient in the use of the Web and other resources for research and education/learning Proficient in the use of e-mail, and CRM software - Excellent telephone etiquette The ideal candidate will also work with Lumos to do continuous market research and feedback on products, prices, new customer demands, customer satisfaction, competition, etc...
