| Job Description | Be part of an exciting organization that is transforming an industry for the betterment of business and the environment! The U.S. Green Building Council, a Washington, DC-based national nonprofit organization of over 20,000 corporate and organizational members from every sector of the building industry united to transform the building marketplace to sustainability, is currently seeking a personable, detail-oriented and highly organized administrative professional to provide support to multiple members of its executive staff as an Executive Administrative Assistant. Position Overview: This Executive Administrative Assistant will provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support to executive staff members, including handling calls and email traffic, scheduling and supporting meetings and educational programs, planning travel, preparing documents, filing and copying. Responsibilities: - Fielding calls and email traffic - Processing expense reports and timesheets - Scheduling conference calls - Managing schedules and appointments - Preparing travel arrangements - Document preparation, including PowerPoint presentations - Filing/copying - Providing departmental overflow administrative support - Other duties as assigned |
| Qualifications | Education & Training Requirements/Preferences:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors degree preferred Experience Requirements: - Minimum 3 years relevant professional experience working in a office environment Other Requierd Skills & Qualifications: - Strong computer skills including demonstrated fluency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database management, internet, e-mail, mail merge - General knowledge of office equipment - Strong interpersonal skills, team player, problem solver - Ability to work well with a diverse professional staff, take on special projects and work independently and to exercise independent judgment when appropriate - Excellent written and verbal communication skills including mastery of grammar and spelling - Excellent attention to detail - Superior organizational skills - Ability to maintain timelines, meet deadlines, prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Commitment to USGBC mission |
